The Ubiquiti UniFi Switch 48 PoE (USW-48-POE) is an enterprise-grade Layer 2 switch built for high-density network environments. It provides 48 Gigabit RJ45 ports, with 32 ports supporting 802.3af/at PoE+, ensuring seamless connectivity and direct power delivery to UniFi access points, VoIP phones, and cameras. For uplinks and fiber integration, the switch includes 4 × 1G SFP ports, enabling long-distance backbone connections.
Performance is designed for demanding networks, delivering 104 Gbps switching capacity, 52 Gbps non-blocking throughput, and 77 Mpps forwarding rate. Administrators benefit from advanced Layer 2 features such as LACP, STP/RSTP, VLAN support, ACLs, IGMP Snooping, Jumbo Frames, DHCP Guarding, and port isolation, all centrally managed through the UniFi Network Controller.
The fanless 1U design ensures silent operation, while the rack-mountable SGCC steel enclosure provides durability for professional installations. A 1.3-inch LCM touchscreen on the front panel enables real-time monitoring and quick configuration at a glance. With 195 W total PoE budget (32 W max per port) and internal 240 W power supply, the USW-48-POE ensures reliable power distribution without external injectors.
