Description

The EdgeSwitch 8 150W (ES-8-150W) is a compact but powerful managed switch in the EdgeMAX line. It provides 8 Gigabit RJ45 ports with auto-sensing PoE+ (802.3af/at) and optional 24 V passive PoE, plus 2 SFP ports for fiber uplinks.

Unmatched in its class, it delivers 10 Gbps total non-blocking throughput and 20 Gbps switching capacity, ensuring high-speed performance with no traffic loss. The switch supports internal 150 W AC/DC power, with an optional 42–56 V DC terminal block for redundant or backup power.

PoE budget is robust—150 W total, with up to 34.2 W per port (PoE+) and 17 W per port (passive PoE). It also features wide operating temperature tolerance, ESD protection, and is NDAA-compliant with CE, FCC, and IC certifications.

Fully manageable via UI or CLI, EdgeSwitch supports enterprise features such as VLANs, link aggregation, STP/RSTP, ACLs, DHCP snooping, 802.1X, and multi-router routing.
