Description

The Ubiquiti airFiber AF-5XHD is engineered specifically for the Wireless ISP and carrier-grade backhaul market. Built on custom LTU silicon, it offers exceptional 21.2 bps/Hz spectral efficiency, enabling line-rate packet processing up to 1.34 Gbps real-world throughput, assuming 4096QAM with the required firmware.

This radio supports 10–100 MHz channel widths, full-band DFS operation, and features such as GPS synchronization, Programmable TX/RX duty cycles, adaptive modulation up to 4096QAM, and split TX/RX frequencies/widths (firmware-dependent). Dual redundant Gigabit Ethernet ports provide PoE failover, and the integrated AlignLock™ antenna aiming guard enhances link reliability.

With support for over 100 km link range, AES-256 encryption, and real-time spectral analysis, the AF-5XHD is purpose-built for ultra-long-distance, low-latency PtP deployments.
