The TP-Link RE315 is a dual-band AC1200 mesh-ready range extender engineered for home users who need to extend Wi-Fi into previously unreachable areas. Its combined speeds (300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz + 867 Mbps on 5 GHz) offer the bandwidth required for streaming, gaming and browsing in spaces where your main router doesn’t reach.
With support for EasyMesh-compatible routers, the RE315 can integrate into a mesh network—providing one Wi-Fi name and seamless roaming across your home. For installation, it features a smart signal-indicator LED to help you find the best wall-outlet location and offers WPS push-button setup for ease of use.
The unit also supports Access Point (AP) mode: by connecting an Ethernet cable into its RJ-45 port, you can turn it into a wireless access point, ideal for wired backhaul or rooms with existing cable drops. Compact and efficient, it draws a maximum of ~9.5 W power, making it suitable for continuous use.
