Description
The ER706W-4G is designed to deliver resilient, high-bandwidth connectivity in challenging network environments. As an AX3000 dual-band router (802.11ax), it provides up to 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz under ideal conditions.
For WAN redundancy and mobile backup, it includes 4G+ Cat6 via a Nano-SIM slot, capable of reaching up to ~300 Mbps download under supporting networks. Wired connectivity is generous: six Gigabit Ethernet ports (1 WAN + 5 dual WAN/LAN capable in many specs) ensure you can connect wired devices, set up load balancing, WAN fallback, or even multiple WAN paths.
Security & VPN functionality are strong: it supports IPSec (100 tunnels), SSL VPN, WireGuard, PPTP, L2TP, and OpenVPN clients + servers. It also includes features like SD-WAN (in controller mode), firewall protections (DoS, flood, etc.), URL filtering, application control via DPI, as well as ARP/MAC binding, etc.
For management and deployment, ER706W-4G works under Omada SDN (cloud or on-premises), with both standalone mode and centralized management options. It also supports mesh features (Omada Mesh or standalone mesh) for expansion.
