Description
The TP-Link Archer AX80 is an advanced AX6000 dual-band WiFi 6 router designed to support modern home networks needing speed, capacity, and flexibility. Ideal for large households streaming 4K/8K content, online gaming, smart home devices, and heavy wireless usage, it delivers combined wireless speeds of up to ~6.0 Gbps (4804 Mbps at 5 GHz with HE160 + 1148 Mbps at 2.4 GHz).
For wired connections, it features a 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN port plus a 1 Gbps WAN/LAN port and three additional Gigabit LAN ports. There’s also a USB 3.0 port for file sharing or media server functions.
Hardware includes a 2.0 GHz quad-core CPU and eight internal high-performance antennas with beamforming to provide broad coverage and stable performance in large multi-story homes.
On the software side, the AX80 supports TP-Link’s HomeShield security platform, guest networks, WPA3, parental controls, and VPN client/server functionality. It also supports OneMesh to extend coverage seamlessly through mesh or extender setups.
