Description
The Sopto SPT-P85TG-SR is a high-performance 10G SFP+ optical module engineered for short-range applications. Operating at 850 nm using a VCSEL laser transmitter and PIN receiver, it supports 10Gbps full-duplex Ethernet over multimode fiber (MMF) with link lengths up to 300 meters on OM3 fiber.
This module is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-SR, SFP+ MSA, SFF-8431, and SFF-8472, ensuring broad interoperability with switches, routers, and network interface cards. Built-in digital diagnostics (DDM) provide real-time monitoring of parameters such as temperature, voltage, and optical power, improving reliability and simplifying troubleshooting.
Compact and hot-pluggable with a duplex LC connector, the SPT-P85TG-SR offers energy-efficient performance (<1 W typical) and EMI-shielded housing. It is widely used in data centers, enterprise networks, and storage area networks (SANs) where cost-effective short-haul 10G connectivity is required.
