Description
The SPH-SFP+AOC from Sopto is a high-performance SFP+ Active Optical Cable designed for short-distance data interconnects. Using active multimode optical fiber with built-in SFP+ transceivers on both ends, this AOC eliminates the need for separate modules and patch cords, reducing cost and simplifying installation.
It delivers 10 Gbps transmission speed, fully compliant with SFP+ MSA and IEEE standards, ensuring interoperability with mainstream switches, servers, and storage devices. Cable lengths are available up to 100 m, making it ideal for rack-to-rack, TOR (Top-of-Rack), and intra-data center connectivity.
The cable is lightweight, flexible, and consumes significantly less power compared to traditional optical transceiver solutions. With hot-swappable SFP+ connectors, it offers true plug-and-play deployment and reduces airflow blockage in high-density racks.
