Description
The SPH-Q/4SFP+AOC is Sopto’s high-performance breakout Active Optical Cable, engineered for seamless interconnect between 40G and 10G infrastructures. At one end, it features a QSFP+ 40G connector, while the opposite end breaks out into 4 × SFP+ 10G connectors, enabling you to split a single 40 Gbps uplink into four 10 Gbps channels.
This AOC eliminates the need for separate transceivers and patch cords, reducing both costs and installation complexity. It is hot-swappable and plug-and-play, requiring no additional configuration. With cable lengths ranging from 1 m up to 100 m, it adapts easily to rack-to-rack, Top-of-Rack (ToR), and server breakout scenarios.
Lightweight and fiber-based, the SPH-Q/4SFP+AOC is more flexible and airflow-friendly than copper DAC solutions, while consuming less power. Fully compliant with QSFP+ and SFP+ MSA standards, as well as IEEE 802.3ba (40GBASE-SR4 / 10GBASE-SR), it ensures interoperability across mainstream switches, servers, and storage devices.
