Description
The Sopto SPT-QSFP+LR4 is a high-performance 40Gbps QSFP+ transceiver designed for long-haul 40G Ethernet applications. Supporting link lengths of up to 10 km over single-mode fiber, it uses a 1310 nm LAN-WDM laser transmitter and PIN photodiode receiver with a duplex LC optical interface.
Fully compliant with IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-LR4 and QSFP+ MSA standards, this module ensures interoperability across a wide range of routers, switches, and network platforms. Its hot-pluggable form factor simplifies upgrades and maintenance in live networks, while low power consumption (<3.5 W typical) makes it suitable for high-density deployments.
The SPT-QSFP+LR4 also integrates advanced optical multiplexing, transmitting four channels of 10Gbps data each, aggregated into a single 40Gbps channel. This enables efficient, cost-effective backbone scaling for data centers, cloud computing environments, metro Ethernet, and ISP backbones.
