Description
The Sopto SPT-QSFP28-LR4S is a 100Gbps QSFP28 long-reach optical transceiver designed for extended-distance 100G Ethernet links up to 20 km over single-mode fiber (SMF). Utilizing four LAN-WDM optical channels (1295–1310 nm), each operating at 25Gbps, the module multiplexes these lanes into a single 100Gbps stream for efficient high-speed transmission.
Built to IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-LR4, QSFP28 MSA, and SFF-8636 specifications, this module ensures seamless interoperability across major network equipment. It features digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM), enabling real-time performance tracking of parameters such as optical power, temperature, and voltage.
With its duplex LC optical interface, hot-pluggable form factor, and low power consumption (<3.5 W), the SPT-QSFP28-LR4S is a robust, scalable solution for data centers, metro networks, cloud interconnects, and carrier backbones requiring 100G transmission up to 20 km.
