Description
The Sopto SPT-QSFP28-LR4 is a high-speed 100Gbps optical transceiver designed for long-reach 100G Ethernet transmission up to 10 km over single-mode fiber (SMF). Utilizing four LAN-WDM channels (1295–1310 nm), each carrying 25Gbps, the module multiplexes them into a single 100Gbps data stream for efficient long-distance backbone connectivity.
Compliant with IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-LR4, QSFP28 MSA, and SFF-8636, this module ensures interoperability with a wide range of network equipment. The duplex LC interface simplifies fiber management, while the hot-pluggable form factor supports quick installation and maintenance.
Featuring digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM) and low power consumption (<3.5 W), the SPT-QSFP28-LR4 delivers stable, energy-efficient performance for high-density environments such as data centers, cloud platforms, metro Ethernet, and enterprise backbones requiring long-haul 100G connectivity.
