Description
The Reyee RG-AirMetro550G-B is a high-performance base station radio designed for PtMP (Point-to-Multipoint) and PtP wireless networks. It operates on 5 GHz (802.11ac, WiFi 5) with 2×2 MIMO, providing up to 867 Mbps throughput under optimal conditions. For compatibility, it includes a secondary 2.4 GHz radio (WiFi 4, single-stream) for legacy clients.
This unit hosts up to 32 downstream CPEs, enabling efficient distribution from a central tower or hub. It is equipped with two Gigabit Ethernet ports, allowing uplink redundancy or out-of-band management. V DC, giving flexibility for installation setups including solar support. The device is built for tough outdoor use: IP55 rating, 6 kV surge protection, and ±24 kV ESD defense.
It supports link distances up to 10 km (line-of-sight) under the right antenna and alignment. Advanced features include one-touch pairing, alignment / survey tools, spectrum scan, automatic link optimization, and cloud management integration.
