The MikroTik SXTsq 5 ax is a compact outdoor Wi‑Fi 6 CPE in the trusted square SXTsq form factor, offering exceptional value. Powered by a dual-core ARM IPQ‑5010 CPU (800 MHz) and 256 MB RAM, it delivers 1200 Mbps on 5 GHz (802.11a/n/ac/ax) with a built-in 16 dBi directional antenna for long-range, high-interference environments—field-tested up to 3 km, with line‑of‑sight links over 10 km. The IP55-rated enclosure supports hose-clamp mounting in three orientations, ideal for masts, poles, or rails. With RouterOS v7 (License Level 4), it can function as either a CPE or an AP. Passive PoE‑IN (12–28 V) powers the unit at up to 6 W max.

Description

Meet the SXTsq 5 ax — MikroTik’s first Wi-Fi 6 outdoor CPE, combining the best wireless technology with the trusted, compact SXTsq form factor.

The enclosure can withstand all sorts of unpredictable weather hazards, and it features slots for directly attaching a hose clamp in three different mounting positions, including support for horizontal railings — ideal for masts and poles in rooftop or tower deployments.

Field-tested up to 3 km in high-interference, urban scenarios. Designed with the same trusted long-range architecture as previous SXT models — capable of 10+ km links in line-of-sight deployments.

With RouterOS license level 4, the SXTsq 5 ax isn’t just a client — it can also be configured as a powerful access point, giving you more flexibility in planning your wireless infrastructure. And thanks to its compact square shape, it fits neatly into even the most space- sensitive deployments.
