Description

The C-Data FD1616S-B1 is a high-performance GPON optical line terminal engineered for large scale FTTH projects, broadband service providers, or telecom network operators who require many subscriber connections per unit. It complies with ITU-T G.984.x / FSAN standards. The unit has 16 PON ports, each supporting up to 1:128 splitting, so one device can serve up to 2,048 ONUs.

Uplink side includes: 2 Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45) ports, 2 SFP, and 2 × 10 Gbps SFP+ ports. Management ports include an out-of-band Gigabit Ethernet port, a console port, and a USB interface for firmware upgrades, configuration backup, and logs.

It supports full Layer-2 switching (VLAN access/trunk/hybrid, MAC table, RSTP, ACLs), L3 static routing, RIP, DHCP server/relay/snooping, ARP proxy; and QoS, multicast (IGMP snooping V1/V2/V3), device reliability features like dual power (AC and DC), automatic fan speed adjustment, and sturdy rack-mount 1U metal chassis.
