Description

The C-Data FD1608S-B1 is an enterprise-grade GPON OLT built to support demanding FTTH, broadband, surveillance, IoT, and enterprise access network deployments. Fully compliant with ITU-T G.984.x and FSAN standards, it provides 8 GPON ports (Class B+ / C+), each capable of handling up to 128 ONUs per port, totaling support for up to 1,024 terminal connections.

For uplink backbone and aggregation, it includes 4 × Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports, 4 × 1 Gbps SFP ports, and 2 × 10GE SFP+ ports. There is also an out-of-band GE management port, a console port for local CLI, and a USB interface for configuration backup, firmware upgrades, and log storage.

Optically, it supports 20 km reach over single-mode fiber (SMF, 9/125 µm) with SC/UPC connectors. GPON downstream rate is 2.5 Gbps; upstream 1.25 Gbps. Wavelengths are 1490 nm (downstream) / 1310 nm (upstream).

The FD1608S-B1 operates in a 1U 19-inch rack form, with dimension approx. 440 × 44 × 276 mm, weight ~4.5 kg. Power supply options include AC 100-240 V or −40 V to −72 V DC. Backup Battery Unit (BBU) support is included. Environment support: operating temperature −15 to +50 °C; storage −40 to +85 °C; relative humidity 5-90% non-condensing.
