Description
The C-Data FD1602S-B1 is an enterprise-grade GPON OLT engineered for reliable FTTH deployment. It meets the standards of ITU-T G.984.x and FSAN, supporting Class B+ and C+ GPON optics. The device has 2 GPON ports, each with a 1:128 splitting ratio, allowing for up to 256 ONU terminals distributed across both ports.
On the uplink side, it offers two GE (10/100/1000 Mbps) Ethernet ports and one 10 Gbps uplink port for backbone aggregation. Downstream and upstream GPON port data rates are 2.5 Gbps downstream and 1.25 Gbps upstream, over SMF (single-mode fiber) with SC/UPC connectors. The optical reach is up to 20 km.
Management is versatile: local console port, CLI, Web GUI, Telnet, SSH, MQTT, and notably, it includes built-in Wi-Fi for direct mobile or wireless login for device configuration and monitoring. The OLT also has a display screen showing vital status information, such as IP address and active ONUs.
Environmental tolerance is wide: operating between -15 °C to +50 °C; storage -40 °C to +85 °C; humidity non-condensing 5–90%. Power options include AC 100–240 V or external 12 V/2.5 A adapter. The FD1602S-B1 provides a strong balance of performance, reliability, and deployment flexibility for demanding fiber-to-the-home environments.
