Description
The C-Data FD1601S-B1 GPON OLT is designed for FTTH networks that require reliable and small form-factor hardware with full compliance to GPON standards. It meets ITU-T G.984.x and FSAN requirements, supporting both Class B+ and Class C+ GPON optical specifications.
This model offers three uplink options: two 10/100/1000 Mbps (Gigabit RJ-45) ports, plus one 10 Gigabit SFP+ uplink. The downstream/upstream rates per GPON port are 2.5 Gbps and 1.25 Gbps, respectively. Each GPON port supports up to 128 ONUs (1:128 split ratio), with optical reach up to 20 km over single mode fiber (SMF), SC/UPC connector.
The FD1601S-B1 also integrates a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi interface for local management, enabling administrators to configure, monitor, and maintain the OLT wirelessly through a web GUI or mobile device, reducing the need for direct console access.
Hardware includes console management, LED status display (ONU count, IP, alarms), and wide environmental tolerances: working temperature is -15 °C to +50 °C, storage -40 °C to +85 °C, humidity non-condensing 5-90%. Power supply is AC 100-240 V (47-63 Hz) or external 12 V/2.5 A adapter. The device supports advanced GPON features such as OMCI, GUI-based monitoring, security management, IGMP multicast, VLANs, and Layer-2 switching.
This makes the FD1601S-B1 suitable for ISPs deploying small communities, multi-dwelling units, or edge nodes in fiber broadband networks, where budget, space, and power are limited but compliance and performance are critical.
