Description

The Sopto SPT-QSFP28-ZR4 is a high-performance 100G QSFP28 optical transceiver engineered for ultra-long-distance 100 GbE and OTU4 transport applications. Using four LAN-WDM channels (1295–1310 nm), each transmitting 25 Gbps, the module multiplexes them into a single 100 Gbps data stream capable of reaching up to 80 km over single-mode fiber (SMF).

Compliant with IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-ZR4, ITU-T G.959.1 OTU4, and QSFP28 MSA, this module ensures full interoperability with major optical networking equipment. It integrates digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM) per SFF-8636 for real-time measurement of optical power, voltage, and temperature.

With its duplex LC interface, hot-pluggable QSFP28 form factor, and low power draw (≈ 4.5 W), the SPT-QSFP28-ZR4 provides reliable long-haul optical performance for metro, regional, and backbone networks, as well as data-center interconnects requiring extended-reach 100G links.
