Description
The Reyee RG-AirMetro460G is a critical component in the RG-AirMetro wireless bridge series, serving as a client or base station (CPE) for both PTP and PTMP network topologies. It operates on the 5 GHz band, leveraging 2×2 MIMO to deliver a peak 867 Mbps wireless link in optimal conditions.
Equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mbps), the AirMetro460G connects to local network devices or upstream switches. It is powered via 24 V passive PoE, simplifying installations in remote locations.
Built for resilience, it features IP65-rated housing, 6 kV surge protection, and ±24 kV ESD protection, making it suitable for outdoor installations exposed to weather and electrical transients. The device supports long-range links up to 15 km (line-of-sight) and includes PTMP pairing capabilities, which allow subscriber units to be linked easily to a base station in just ~30 seconds.
This unit supports fallback to 802.11n for compatibility in diverse network environments. Its mounting flexibility, weather resistance, and wireless performance make it ideal for deployments in campuses, surveillance networks, branch connectivity, remote buildings, and industrial areas.
