Description
The Sopto SPT-P13TG-ER-M is an extended reach (ER) 10G SFP+ optical transceiver, designed for high-speed long-haul connections up to 40 km over single-mode fiber (SMF). Using a 1310 nm DFB laser transmitter and a PIN photodiode receiver, it provides stable and efficient 10GBASE-ER performance with full IEEE 802.3ae compliance.
This transceiver is fully compliant with SFP+ MSA, SFF-8431, and SFF-8472 standards, ensuring interoperability with major network equipment vendors. It supports digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM), allowing operators to track real-time parameters such as optical power, voltage, and module temperature.
With its hot-pluggable LC duplex interface and low power consumption (~1.5 W typical), the SPT-P13TG-ER-M is simple to deploy, replace, and scale in live environments. Designed for durability and EMI shielding with an all-metal housing, it is well-suited for ISP backbone links, enterprise WANs, and high-density data center applications requiring reliable 40 km reach.
