Description
The Sopto SPT-PB351G-LXXD + SPT-PB531G-LXXD pair of 1.25 Gbps BiDi SFP transceivers is optimized for single-fiber deployments where fiber resources are limited. By using complementary wavelengths (1310 nm and 1550 nm), the pair enables bi-directional transmission across a single strand of single-mode fiber, cutting infrastructure requirements in half compared to standard dual-fiber links.
Each module is compliant with IEEE 802.3z 1000BASE-LX/LH, SFP MSA, and SFF-8472 DDM standards, ensuring interoperability with a wide range of switches and routers. Hot-pluggable with standard LC simplex connectors, they support real-time diagnostics (DDM) for monitoring temperature, voltage, optical power, and module health.
Depending on the suffix (LXX), the modules support link distances of 1 km, 10 km, 20 km, or more on standard 9/125 µm SMF. With low power consumption (typically < 1 W) and wide operating temperature support in “D” versions, they are suited for enterprise networks, ISP access, FTTH, and campus environments.
