Description
The TP-Link MC210CS is a high-performance Gigabit media converter built to extend networks over long-distance single-mode fiber. Designed for enterprise backbones, ISPs, and campus networks, it provides reliable conversion between copper Ethernet and single-mode fiber using SC connectors. Fully compliant with IEEE 802.3ab and 802.3z standards, it supports 1000BASE-T and 1000BASE-LX connections for seamless integration.
Equipped with one RJ45 copper port and one SC fiber port, the MC210CS offers full wire-speed forwarding and auto MDI/MDIX on the copper side, simplifying installation. The fiber interface operates at 1310 nm and supports transmission distances up to 15–20 km, making it ideal for connecting remote sites, buildings, or backbone segments.
LED indicators provide instant status monitoring, while its compact design allows stand-alone use or integration into TP-Link’s TL-MC1400 chassis for rack deployments. With low power consumption and FCC/CE/RoHS certifications, the MC210CS is a dependable solution for extending Gigabit networks over fiber with minimal maintenance
