Description

The Huawei eKitEngine AP266 is an AX3000 wall-plate access point designed for dense indoor deployments such as boutique hotels, educational facilities, outpatient clinics, retail stores, or rooms requiring multiple wired connections. Compliant with Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11ax), it supports 2×2 MIMO on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Leveraging MU-MIMO, 1024-QAM, and a 160 MHz channel on the 5 GHz band, it achieves speeds up to ~ 575 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and ~ 2.4 Gbps on 5 GHz, summing to ~ 2.975 Gbps.

It provides 5 Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports: one uplink (which also supports PoE-in), plus four downlinks, one of which supports PoE-out (15 W max on PoE-out). The device draws ~ 9.4 W (excluding PoE-out) during operation.

For management and deployment, it supports Huawei’s eKit App, SNC platform, and wireless access controller modes (Fit/Fat). It includes wired & wireless security features (WPA2 / WPA3, 802.1X, etc.), smart antenna with interference suppression, and adaptive deployment options (desk, wall-mount, ceiling, or junction box).

Compact size, smart design, and multiple ports make it suitable where both strong WiFi and wired connectivity are needed in a small footprint.
