Description
The Huawei eKitEngine AP361 is designed to deliver reliable gigabit Wi-Fi in indoor environments with moderate to high user density. It supports the IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) standard and offers dual-band operation: 2×2 MIMO on both the 2.4 GHz band (up to ~575 Mbps) and the 5 GHz band (up to ~1.2 Gbps), for a combined maximum device rate of 1.775 Gbps.
It includes built-in smart antenna technology that adjusts signal coverage dynamically based on environment changes. This ensures more consistent coverage as client devices move.
The AP supports multiple management modes: Fit, Fat, and Huawei’s Cloud mode. Deployment and operations are facilitated via the Huawei eKit mobile app, which supports barcode scanning, Wi-Fi-based setup, and zero-touch onboarding in multi-site networks.
With a single Gigabit Ethernet PoE-in port (802.3af), it can be installed without separate power lines. Maximum power draw is about 8.8 – 9.4 W.
