Description
The TP-Link EAP610 (Indoor) is an AX1800 ceiling-mount access point tailored to deliver strong business-class WiFi 6 performance in indoor settings. Ideal for installations in hotels, schools, offices, and hospitality venues, it supports crowded environments where many devices connect simultaneously.
Operating across dual bands, it offers up to 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 1,201 Mbps on 5 GHz, leveraging improved modulation (1024-QAM), OFDMA, and MU-MIMO to reduce latency and boost throughput. It includes a Gigabit Ethernet port with PoE+ (802.3at) plus DC power input options for flexible deployment.
Management is simplified via the Omada SDN platform, allowing cloud or on-premises control, zero-touch provisioning, and batch configurations. Seamless roaming ensures users experience uninterrupted service when moving between APs, while features like band steering, airtime fairness, and load balancing optimize performance under load. Security is robust: WPA3 encryption, guest SSIDs (up to 16), captive portal / SMS login options, and secure guest isolation.
Design-wise, the EAP610 is ultra-slim and discreet (Ø 160 mm × 33.6 mm), ideally blending into ceilings. Mounting is versatile (ceiling, wall, junction box kits included). Use indoors to maximize performance and comply with regulatory limitations.
