The TP-Link EAP110 presents an affordable yet robust solution for organizations requiring stable, centrally managed wireless in indoor environments. Built for ceiling or wall mount installation, its sleek design blends seamlessly into interior settings.

Operating on the 2.4 GHz band with 802.11n (b/g/n) standard, it provides up to 300 Mbps wireless data rates, with dual internal 3 dBi antennas for solid coverage. Although its Ethernet port is Fast Ethernet (10/100 Mbps), it’s sufficient for many common use-cases where full Gigabit uplink is not essential. Passive PoE support simplifies deployment where mains power access is limited.

On the management side, the EAP110 supports feature sets suited for business use: multiple SSIDs per device, captive portal (including guest authentication), SSID-to-VLAN mapping, wireless security modes (WPA/WPA2, enterprise), transmit power / channel control, and monitoring. It integrates with TP-Link’s EAP / Omada controller suite for centralized control of many access points.

If greater range, ruggedness, or outdoor capability is needed, check the EAP110-Outdoor model. However, for indoor ceilings and walls, the EAP110 offers a solid value for managed wireless in moderate density areas.
