Description
The Ubiquiti airMAX LiteAP GPS (LAP-GPS) is a high-value, GPS-synchronized 5 GHz sector AP designed for seamless, long-range wireless connectivity. Featuring a robust 17 dBi directional antenna, it delivers up to 450+ Mbps real throughput, ideal for WISP deployments requiring reliable capacity across multiple clients with minimal interference.
Equipped with GPS synchronization, multiple LAP-GPS devices can coexist on the same channel without overlapping transmissions, enhancing frequency reuse and network stability. The device includes a dedicated management radio, intuitive airOS® 8 interface, and setup via the UISP (UNMS) mobile app for efficient deployment and diagnostics.
The lightweight, ball-joint pole mount design enables tool-free alignment—paired with passive PoE (24 V, 0.3 A) and a Gigabit Ethernet port (included PoE adapter)—for fast and flexible installations.
Durable for outdoor conditions, the LAP-GPS withstands -40 to 70 °C, has 200 km/h wind survivability, and boasts ESD/EMP protection and industry-standard shock compliance. It’s NDAA-compliant and certified for CE, FCC, and IC markets.
Application
WISP sector APs, Point-to-Multipoint (PtMP) networks, scalable deployments requiring synchronized sector coverage, frequency reuse optimization.
