Description
The MikroTik LAMP 5G R16 is a rugged outdoor cellular networking device designed for locations where network conditions can change and a directional antenna is not always practical. Its omnidirectional antenna system can connect to available cellular towers without requiring manual antenna alignment. This makes it particularly suited to cities, ports, industrial sites, transport hubs, and other demanding deployments.
The device uses a modern 5G SA/NSA modem with LTE Category 20 support and 4×4 downlink MIMO. It supports a broad range of LTE and 5G bands. Built-in eSIM support allows operators to activate plans remotely and store multiple eSIM profiles. It also supports third-party eSIM providers and MikroTik Connectivity.
The LAMP 5G R16 provides 1× Gigabit Ethernet port with 802.3af/at PoE-in. It runs RouterOS v7 on a dual-core ARM 64-bit platform with 512 MB RAM, providing flexible routing and network management capabilities.
The enclosure is IP67-rated and designed for demanding outdoor and marine environments. It complies with the EN 60945 maritime standard and includes GNSS support for GPS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS. This makes the LAMP 5G R16 suitable for fixed outdoor connectivity, marine installations, remote infrastructure, fleet applications, and backup connectivity.
